Sharing my new purple shirt from Anthropologie for this week’s 52. I love the peasant sleeves, empire waist and lavender color. It’s very comfortable and very feminine.
I started the week with a horrible cold. I had a sore throat and migraine and felt exhausted and achey all over. Felt a bit better on Friday and ventured out for some special birthday activities Cory had planned, but we ended up having to reschedule a majority of the activities because I took a turn for the worse. Turns out I have walking pneumonia, oh joy! Not really what I wanted for my 25th birthday, but sometimes that’s how the cards are dealt. Special thanks to Cory for taking such great care of me!
And now, my week in pictures…
And now, if you are so inclined, the words that correspond with the pictures…
Sunday (Jan. 29): Ran a few errands and snapped a few polaroids. Need to head back to Pro Photo sometime this week and pick up some more film.
Monday (Jan. 30): I think Cory could be a professional veggie tray maker. He made me this epic one (including Caesar dressing from scratch for dipping) before he left for work knowing I was too sick to really get up and make anything for myself.
Tuesday (Jan. 31): Our lease is up in June, and while I’m very excited about moving somewhere new, I will miss the marsh and winding path behind our apartment. I can look out my bedroom window and feel as though I am hidden in a secret forest.
Wednesday (Feb. 1): At the end credits of Beauty and the Beast 3D, they showcased beautiful black and white concept drawings of the characters. I was super inspired and decided to break out some black paper and white pastel and draw a bit.
Thursday (Feb. 2): Cory’s new Warby Parker frames finally arrived. Warby Parker really is an amazing company. They actually ended up gifting these frames to Cory due to an incident in their lab that caused Cory’s order to take longer to ship than was promised. Thanks Warby Parker for being so amazing. I know I sure love my frames.
Friday (Feb. 3): I’m 25 today. Very strange thing to think. Stay tuned for a full birthday post soon.
Saturday (Feb. 4): Spent the day in bed since what I thought was a cold was actually walking pneumonia. At least I received some awesome reading material in the mail on this particular day. I really hope to be able to afford to shoot more film someday soon.
