For this week’s 52, I’m sharing my first portrait on PZ film. Read (and see) more about my adventure with Spectra here.
Forgive me for posting my 365 so late in the week, but things are still a bit crazy around here from the move! And now, my week in photographs…
Sunday (June 10th): One of my favorite things about summer is all the delicious fruit that is available. I wish I could start every morning with this bounty!
Monday (June 11th): Met a hippo on today’s walk. Wouldn’t have minded if he followed me home.
Tuesday (June 12th): I went out to breakfast with two of my best girlfriends, Natalie and Melanie. After eating delicious food, and catching up on one another’s lives, we headed to a bridal salon so Natalie could get her feet wet in the bridal gown pool. She is getting married next year to the sweetest guy. I couldn’t be happier for them! Cory texted me that I had a surprise waiting for me when I got home. It was my June Birchbox! Full post coming soon.
Wednesday (June 13th): I recently discovered that the Polaroid Spectra that my grandparents had given me a few years ago was in actual working condition. It’s like I have a new camera to bring to Italy with me! Need to stock up on some PZ film…
Thursday (June 14th): Added a sedum to our plant collection.
Friday (June 15th): Signed the rest of the paperwork for our apartment and were given our new keys!
Saturday (June 16th): Moving day! I lived in the house I grew up in since my baby brother was born: roughly 21 years. My move in with Cory was a transition: I started bringing stuff over little by little and once we bought our kingsized bed, I never left! This move was the first time I’ve ever moved all my things in a matter of days. The hardest thing to move was my book collection. Seriously… I think I have a problem.

Great photographs. I especially like the keys. There is just something about that shot. And ooooh the fruit. I want to live in a country where it’s always summer!
Oh no, no, book collections are not a problem! Blessings going your way to the new house!
