July’s Birchbox was curated by Glamour Magazine‘s beauty editors. They chose the five senses as the theme.
Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint (In Golden): Apparently moisturizing tints are all the rage right now. While I did enjoy the feel and coverage of this one, I think “golden” was a little too yellow for my liking. I wish Birchbox would have sent me “pearl” instead. I would love to try it.
Stila “It’s Go Time” Lip Glaze (In Kitten): When it comes to my lips, I tend to vier away from glosses. I’m more of a chapstick / lip stain sort of gal. While I loved the smell and color of this gloss, the stickiness just wasn’t for me.
Oscar de la Renta “Live in Love”: I’m pretty married to the scents I currently wear so it’s really hard form me to give a new perfume a fair shot. I’m feel pretty neutral about this scent: don’t love it, don’t hate it.
LARABAR (Roasted Nut Roll): Sweet… salty… what more could you ask for?
Alterna Bamboo UV+ Color Protection Fade-Proof Fluide: I was actually crossing my fingers that I would get this product to sample. Red hair is hard to maintain, especially in the summertime. This product has a wonderful smell and left my hair incredibly soft. I’m excited to see if it makes a difference in the straying power of my hair color.
Birchbox Exclusive Ear Buds: Definitely a fun little extra! And just in time for my long plane ride.

Man. This really. Really. Reallllly makes me want to get in on the Birchbox thing. Is a subscription for an entire year?
Hi Naomi! Birchbox works like Netflix does where it charges you $10 once a month for each box. You can cancel at any time. You can also buy a subscription for an entire year if you want!
I didn’t really get the fuss over Birchbox until seeing this… awesome collection of goodies!
I had been debating for a long time wether or not to sign up but now I am so glad I did. Its been a lot of fun experimenting with new products.
