I’m celebrating the ending of my 52 weeks portrait project in this week’s 52!
I’m looking forward to sharing a year in review tomorrow but for now, here is the final week of my 2012 in photographs…
Sunday (December 23rd): Getting some more cookie gift boxes put together to hand out for Christmas.
Monday (December 24th): We spent Christmas Eve with my Dad’s side of the family (like we do nearly every year). We opened gifts and ate chinese food. Can’t wait for next year.
Tuesday (December 25th): Merry Christmas! Ever since I can remember, I’ve spent Christmas morning at my Aunt Brenda’s house for Christmas Brunch. Mimosas, sausages, quiche, presents, family… what could be better? Cory and I also visited his family up at his Grandma’s Farm and guess what… there was snow! It was truly a white Christmas…
Wednesday (December 26th): Picked up some gorgeous flowers to brighten the apartment.
Thursday (December 27th): My dear friend Eva is getting married and I hosted her bridal shower. Look at the incredible bridesmaid’s gifts she gave each of us!
Friday (December 28th): Bloody Mary anyone?
Saturday (December 29th): Neither of us felt like cooking so sushi was necessary.
Sunday (December 30th): It was such a gorgeous day with an equally gorgeous sunset.
Monday (December 31st): Spent the majority of the day cleaning and organizing in preparation for starting the new year off right. Cory and I aren’t really party animals so we decided to celebrate “noon” year by going out to lunch instead of going out and partying at night. And of course we couldn’t help but treat ourselves to a cup of coffee at Coava.

I kinda wish I would have opted to do something this year but I suppose I’m about two weeks too late now! Beautiful photos.

You know what though? I think it’s never too late. Just mark it a year from when you start!
