For this week’s 52, you see me where I have been all week: in bed feeling lousy. I think I’m over the worst of it though. My hair starts looking very “punk rocker” after a few days in bed. I miss the outside. Because of my illness, I didn’t leave the apartment for over a week which is incredibly odd for me. I ended up photographing things I usually wouldn’t and I think it made for an interesting set of images. And now, my week in pictures… Sunday (Feb. 5): A breathtaking sunset from my bed. I’m grateful that I get to wake up every morning next to him. I’m grateful that we finally get to call the same place home. I’m grateful that we get to sleep in together today because we haven’t had a day together, just the two of us, in far too long.

I’m grateful that I get to wake up every morning and stare out at a kaleidoscope of color. I’m grateful that through this window I get to see the seasons change. I’m grateful for our new bed, the very first that belongs to Cory and me, together.
