Sharing my new glasses from Lookmatic in this week’s 52. I adore them. More soon. And now, my week in photographs… Sunday (November 18th): A little visit from Needy, our most friendly, demanding neighborhood cat. Monday (November 19th): Stumbled upon some beautiful fungi. Tuesday (November 20th): It’s getting colder and colder and pretty soon these gorgeous, fiery leaves will be gone. I’m going to miss them. Wednesday (November 21st): Homemade cranberry sauce is the only way to go. Thursday (November 22nd): We had a happy Thanksgiving over at my in-law’s farm. How about you? Whoa. I’m not sure how it happened, but it’s already Thursday and I haven’t posted my weekly 365! I guess I blame it on the craziness that is the holiday season. Speaking of holidays, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Cory and I will be spending it at my in laws today. For this week’s 52, I’m hanging out at one of my favorite neighborhood coffee shops. This month, Birchbox teamed up with goop. They put together a collection of their much-loved essentials. Kuami Tea Paris (In Euphoria & Detox): I’m a tea drinker and love trying new brands and flavors. I was instantly smitten with the packaging and was so glad when the flavor matched up to how darling it looked. DDF Wrinkle Resist Plus Poor Minimizer Moisturizing Serum: While I loved the sent of this serum and how soft it left my skin, I think the formula was a bit too strong for my fair complexion. All Hallows’ Eve

Happy Halloween everyone! Since Cory works evenings, we celebrated Halloween over the weekend. We spent the morning carving pumpkins. I love how they turned out. This is actually the first time we have gone to a pumpkin patch, picked out pumpkins and carved them together. I’m already looking forward to doing it again next year. We have a tradition of going out to dinner and a movie in our costumes. This year we decided to go as Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick. What do you think? Week 43 {Project 365}

Enjoying the park blocks in this week’s 52. I think that this is the last week I’ll be able to get away with wearing a sweater instead of a heavy coat. It’s getting soooo cold! And now, my week in photographs… Sunday (October 21st): A clear evening downtown. Monday (October 22nd): Once again, rain ruined our plans, so we decided to drown our sorrows in copious amounts of Indian food. Week 42 {Project 365}

Posing with pumpkins in this week’s 52. And now, my week in photographs… Sunday (October 14th): The hubby and I finally made it to the pumpkin patch. I’m still laughing thinking about how much joy the hayride gave Cory. He didn’t realize there would be free hayrides so when I explained that we had to ride in order to get to the patch, his eyes lit up! A Trip to Stumptown

It’s that time of year. The time of year when the sky turns grey and the rain is nearly constant. The rain and cold keeps me inside and thus unable to ignore the chores that during the summer I could run away from with the excuse that sunshine is fleeting and I had to soak it up while it’s around. Yesterday was particularly stormy so I decided to take a look through my archives with the hope of clearing things out a bit. I ended up rediscovering these photographs I took a few months back at Stumptown. Cory and I go to the Ace every other month or so and take a filmstrip in their photo booth. The rain has started and it is creating the most beautiful blue, grey light. It’s what inspired this week’s 52. And now, my week in photographs… Sunday (October 7th): Pencil shavings from a recent project. Monday (October 8th): Cupcakes were a necessity on this particular day. Tuesday (October 9th): A new favorite. Wednesday (October 10th): An incredible sunset. I’m going to miss seeing those regularly now that we are in the rainy part of the season.
