Sunday, January 27th: Hundreds of birds flying overhead. Monday, January 28th: Was on set shooting a new pattern for Colette Patterns. I can’t wait to share more! Tuesday, January 29th: Juicing. Wednesday, January 30th: A dull, grey day made better with a delicious plate of sushi. Thursday, January 31st: I will never tire of the beauty of clouds… Friday, February 1st: Can you even believe it’s February? Pretty packaging at a little market. Saturday, January 2nd: Happy Groundhog’s day! Started my birthday weekend off right with a haircut and a delicious latte. Oh, and how do you like the watch Cory got me? I’m so in love with it.

Sunday, January 20th: A bit of coffee at Coava. Speaking of Coava, an exceptionally lovely afternoon at Coava is featured on Endlessly Enraptured today… Monday, January 21st: Enjoyed some drinks with my sweetheart at McMenamins’ Roadhouse. Tuesday, January 22nd: My handsome husband. Why does facial hair have to look so good but be so prickly? Wednesday, January 23rd: New journals arrived! One for me, one for Cory. I think we are going to swap at the end of each month and read what the other wrote. Is it weird how excited I am about it? Thursday, January 24th: When you’re both ill, sometimes all you can do is sit back and order pizza. Friday, January 25th: Was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this soup turned out to be.…

Week 3 (Project 365, 2013)

Sunday, January 13th: An unexpected snow day. Monday, January 14th: Been enjoying watching “I Love Lucy” on Hulu lately. I’m a big Lucille Ball fan. Tuesday, January 15th: And thus a new routine begins. My braces were put on. Just the top ones for now. In 6 weeks they will shave down two of my molars and put braces on my bottom teeth. I’m sure I will have a lot more to say on the matter once the pain subsides a bit… Wednesday, January 16th: My first time making gluten free gnocchi. Pretty proud. Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013!

2012 was an incredible year in so many ways. I made huge strides with my health, photography and in my relationships. It was also a tough year filled with transitions, setbacks and more testing of my faith and patience than I cared for. I feel as though 2012 was gearing me up for the magic and wonder that is going to be 2013. I really can’t wait to see how the coming year unfolds and share it with my husband. Thank you to everyone who followed along as I photographed each day of my life this past year. Surrounded by glittering gold in this week’s 52. And now, my week in photographs… Sunday (December 16th): Sipping cocoa and reading fashion magazines surrounded by the glow of holiday lights. All Hallows’ Eve

Happy Halloween everyone! Since Cory works evenings, we celebrated Halloween over the weekend. We spent the morning carving pumpkins. I love how they turned out. This is actually the first time we have gone to a pumpkin patch, picked out pumpkins and carved them together. I’m already looking forward to doing it again next year. We have a tradition of going out to dinner and a movie in our costumes. This year we decided to go as Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick. What do you think? Week 39 {Project 365}

For this week’s 52, I’m wearing my new Lizzy Dress I won from a giveaway on Kayture (isn’t she fabulous?). I adore this dress: the print, color, fit, everything! Can’t wait to style it with a black blazer and knee-high boots for Fall. And now, my week photographs… Sunday (September 23rd): I was feeling much, MUCH better compared to Saturday so Cory and I decided to go to the local farmer’s market (where we sampled delicious, fresh produce and bought a beautiful bouquet for my mom) and spent some time at Powell’s. Monday (September 24th): I had a very successful doctor’s appointment and we celebrated by picking up some heirloom tomatoes for caprese salad. I’ve tried to convince Cory of the deliciousness of heirloom tomatoes for the last few years.…

I’m almost imaginary in this week’s 52. Ever since the Impossible Project sent me that expired film, I’ve been having a wonderful time taking shots of things I might have otherwise overlooked. And now, my week in polaroids… Sunday (September 9th): Wild mushrooms on a morning walk to the library. Monday (September 10th): My favorite Portland bridge. Tuesday (September 11th): The incredibly lovely, talented and hilarious Kim Miller had me as her second shooter for an intimate wedding ceremony at Opal Creek. I can’t wait to go hiking there again. Week 36 {Project 365}

I’m at Grandma’s Farm in this week’s 52. This week nearly went by without a 365 post. Its been a hectic week. A few years ago, my mom had an aneurysm. Last month she was diagnosed with diabetes. This week we found out she also has crohn’s disease and has a large tumor inside her intestines. A few more tests need to be done before we know if it’s cancerous. Whatever your beliefs may be, please keep my mom in your thoughts and send positivity her way. My lovely mother needs a break from all this hardship. My heart is full of hope. A Trip to Grandma’s Farm

On labor day, we visited Cory’s family. His grandma lives on an 88 acre farm out in the middle of nowhere. You would never know it was there unless someone purposely took you there. You travel along winding, gravel and dirt roads where you eventually come to a clearing with a farm. It was such a lovely day out so we took advantage of it and went on a photowalk before dinner. We had a little friend by the name of Boots follow us along. It made me long for a kitten that much more! Cory’s brother Casy dug us up some potatoes and garlic from the garden. They wanted to send us home with some cabbage too, but as you will see in the photos…
