The rain has started and it is creating the most beautiful blue, grey light. It’s what inspired this week’s 52. A nod to my love of reading for this week’s 52. My week mostly consisted of finishing up stressful school projects, cursing the rain and running around trying to get things done. I’m pretty sure I overworked myself because I woke up this morning with a horrible headache and sore throat. Showing off my new sunglasses for this week’s 52. What do you think of them? I jokingly tried them on for Cory at Anthropologie and fell in love with them. They were 70% off so I basically had to get them. It was kind of a tough week this week. Don’t get me wrong, there were lots of great moments, I just think I have a bit of the winter blues. I figured I would take one more self portrait before the new year. 2011 has been a year that I will never forget. It wasn’t all peaches and cream, but today I’m going to focus on the positive: Cory and I got engaged. I moved out of my family home that I’ve lived in for the past 21 years and moved in with my fiance. I photographed my first wedding, first senior portraits and first engagement session. I started Monsieur Mustache, which will be featured on Portlandia. Oh, and I also got to be on Portlandia as the “Pale Princess.” I always knew I held that title, but it was nice to finally be recognized for it officially. Be sure to tune in to season…
