Sharing some new makeup in this week’s 52. Are you familiar with Lisa Eldridge? I love her tutorials. She is truly a makeup maven. Over the last few months, I have been researching products to wear for the wedding. One thing in particular was a highlighter/illuminator. Lisa recommended the Body Shop’s Radiant Highlighter. I picked it up and am happy with the results. It gives my skin a definite glow. PS: I have no clue why I’m looking so serious in these photos. Low blood sugar or something. A reflection for this week’s 52. It was a long week and one I’m happy to say goodbye to. But, lets not focus on the bad, lets focus on the little gems that made it worth it. I’m showing off my new haircut, new dress and the how I seemed to match my surroundings in this week’s 52. And now, my week in photographs… Sunday (March 18th): I’m debating making my own bouquet for my wedding. Cory and I don’t have a lot of money to spend but I don’t think that means I shouldn’t be able to carry some gorgeous flowers down the aisle. Week 11 {Project 365}

Sharing one of my favorite things to do on this week’s 52: Sitting quietly in a coffee shop, people watching and gazing out at the weather. We don’t have enough still moments in life, you know? And now, my week in photographs: Sunday (March 11th): A little lipstick. Monday (March 12th): I’m trying to battle these gloomy, rainy days with some pops of color. Come on Spring!! This week’s 52 is an ode to the Impossible Project. I love instant film and I hadn’t yet gotten my mitts on their black frame film. These gorgeous shots by Anne McGarry pushed me over the edge to finally pick some up. I am now completely hooked. I’m bundled up for this week’s 52. It was kind of a dreary week with lots of rain and howling wind which resulted in postponing lots of plans. I think the weather really but a damper on my creativity as well. Week 7 {Project 365}

For this week’s 52, I’m sharing my darker side. I usually go lighter on the eyes and sport a bold red lip instead, but after being sick and not wearing makeup for a week, I wanted to experiment and have some fun. A gift I got for my birthday was the Naked 2 Palette from Urban Decay and I LOVE it. If you are looking to invest in some quality makeup, I definitely recommend it. For this week’s 52, you see me where I have been all week: in bed feeling lousy. I think I’m over the worst of it though. My hair starts looking very “punk rocker” after a few days in bed. I miss the outside. Because of my illness, I didn’t leave the apartment for over a week which is incredibly odd for me. Week 5 {Project 365}

Sharing my new purple shirt from Anthropologie for this week’s 52. I love the peasant sleeves, empire waist and lavender color. It’s very comfortable and very feminine. I started the week with a horrible cold. I had a sore throat and migraine and felt exhausted and achey all over. Felt a bit better on Friday and ventured out for some special birthday activities Cory had planned, but we ended up having to reschedule a majority of the activities because I took a turn for the worse. A nod to my love of reading for this week’s 52. My week mostly consisted of finishing up stressful school projects, cursing the rain and running around trying to get things done. I’m pretty sure I overworked myself because I woke up this morning with a horrible headache and sore throat. A Trip to Salt & Straw

We have been having incredibly rainy weather here lately, even for Oregon standards. On Sunday, a little bit of sunshine peaked out and Cory and I decided to pretend it meant that it was summer and go out for ice cream. I’m a bit of an ice cream enthusiast. Ok, major enthusiast. Always have been, always will be. I’ve been to Salt & Straw’s scoop cart a few times, but haven’t been able to get out to Alberta to their shop since it opened a few months back.
